Randstad are recruiting a HR and Recruitment coordinator to join the existing HR team at Belfast Metropolitan College, this is an ongoing opportunity

Requirements
8. Minimum of 3 years' recent experience of providing expert advice and guidance to managers on Resourcing matters
9. Excellent project management skills
10. CIPD Level 7 or equivalent plus professional membership is highly desirable
11. GCSE Maths and English Grade C and above or equivalent
12. Excellent MS Office skills
13. Comprehensive working knowledge of equal opportunities, recruitment and selection
14. Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting and compliance including Access NI due to the nature of this work
Responsibilities
15. Operate as an internal resources consultant to redesign and implement a fresh and innovative approach to resourcing and the deployment of employees within the College
16. The design and delivery of competency based assessment centres as part of the delivery of this new approach
17. Produce management guideline/ toolkit and a new recruitment procedure
18. Review and update social media advertising and careers website
19. Updating of polices and procedures
20. To use innovation and creativity in the development and implementation of selection methods for the College
21. To provide a resourcing consultancy service to the HR business partner team and the managers within the College
22. To ensure that equality and diversity is embedded fully
23. To manage and monitor the College's appointment policy and procedure to ensure fairness and consistency
24. To advise senior management on the utilisation and deployment of lecturing staff, including the balance between the employment of full time, associate and hourly paid part time lecturers
25. To ensure that contracts of employment are issued to hourly paid part time lecturers
26. To ensure that effective systems are established, maintained and implemented for the recruitment of hourly paid part time lecturers and for the appointment of such staff, including emergency appointments
