Responsibilities
:
1. Participating in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-classpliance, programs, policies and practices for ICRM.
2. Analyzingparative data and preparing regional and global reports related topliance risk assessments, and monitoring ofpliance related issues.
3. Reviewing materials to ensurepliance with various regulatory and legal requirements. Identifying and addressing potential risks.
4. Investigating and assisting in responses topliance risk issues. Investigating regulatory inquiries, preparing required documentation, making rmendations to senior management on how to proceed, and preparing responses for the regulatory inquiries.
5. Monitoring adherence to Citi'spliance Risk Policies and relevant procedures.
6. Preparing, editing and maintainingpliance program related materials.
7. Interacting and working with other areas within Citi, as necessary.
8. Keeping abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations and internal policy changes in order to further identify new key risk areas.
9. Additional duties as assigned.
10. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
11. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
12. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
13. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by drivingpliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
14. Prior Privacy and Data Responsibility experience preferred.
Qualifications:
15. Knowledge ofpliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies
16. Excellent written and verbalmunication skills
17. Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
18. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
19. Work collaboratively with regional and global partners in other functional units; ability to navigate aplex organization
20. Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
21. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
22. Knowledge in area of focus
Education:
23. Bachelor's degree or proven experience inpliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or abination thereof; experience in area of focus; Advanced degree preferred
