An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Commercial and Programmes team based at our Winsford site.
As a Project Manager, you will manage the day-to-day running of assigned contracts for customer projects within the defence sector in the UK and overseas.
Rolls-Royce Distributed Generation Systems business specializes in the design, development, manufacture, and support of electrical power generation and distribution systems for clients operating in harsh environmental conditions. Our products are supplied to military, marine, homeland security, first responders, and disaster relief markets.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum, we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you will be doing:
* Monitor, control, and manage the overall project performance to address deviations from plan in line with company standard processes.
* Influencing and management of key internal and external project/programme stakeholders.
* Regular reporting and updating to convey ideas, expectations, and information to the project team, stakeholders, and clients.
* Support or lead, where appropriate, the drafting, negotiating, and amendment of allocated proposals and contracts in accordance with all relevant processes.

You must be a UK National to be considered for the position due to the nature of this role.
To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence Business, there may be a requirement for an individual to hold a level of National Security Vetting (NSV). If the requirement is identified, Rolls-Royce will support the application for NSV if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
