As a Finance Assistant - Rents, you will be a key player in the finance department, reporting directly to the Rent Finance Officer. Your responsibilities will include processing rent adjustments, handling rent queries, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role is vital in maintaining the financial health of the organisation by ensuring that rent payments are accurately recorded and managed. What skills and experience do you need? Experience: Experience of working with large database systems and account reconciliations Skills: Proficiency in using Excel, excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential for dealing with internal and external stakeholders. What are the pay and benefits? £25,273 for a 37 hour, full time, 12 month temporary position 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays, rising to 30 days with length of service Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days, Most of our Finance team work in a hybrid capacity and attend our Newport, Cardiff or Swansea office for team meetings, a couple of times a month.
