Green Elms Surgery, part of Ranworth PCN, are looking for a capable assistant practice manager to join the team on a full-time basis. With previous experience in a similar position, the successful applicant will support the practice manager ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment. They will be responsible for the day to day management and supervision of practice staff and associated functions, ensuring all are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols and time-scales. Key duties include; Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment system. Produce and maintain the reception duty rota, completing opening and closing procedures in accordance practice policy. Manage annual leave for reception team and ensure adequate cover for absences. Provide cover to the reception team when required. Ensure adequate staffing levels and rotas in line with agreed policy. Manage the sourcing and maintain of supplies and stocks. Deal with more complex enquiries from patients and escalate issues to the practice manager as appropriate. Daily management and coordination of a number of workflows, including pathology results, tasks, emails and patient queries, prescriptions, documents and appointments.
