We are currently working with a client who is seeking a proactive Development Chef to collaborate with the Executive Chef in creating and executing innovative food concepts, launching new outlets, and ensuring consistently high-quality culinary offerings while maintaining gross profit margins. A background in Restaurant, B&I, or Independent Education would be desirable, and we are looking for someone who is a real foodie and willing to try new concepts!
Responsibilities:
* Lead the creation of diverse menus and packaged foods tailored to various price points and restaurant styles, adapting them to the team’s capabilities.
* Assist in refreshing and enhancing food offerings, aligning with current and emerging food trends to create appealing menu items.
* Conduct audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, food safety, and environmental regulations.
* Assist in stock counting and variance analysis.
Skills and Experience:
* Extensive experience in catering/kitchen management, including high volume and multi-site operations.
* Previous role as a Head Chef.
* Demonstrated successful leadership experience.
* Creative approach to developing catering services, incorporating new food concepts and trends.
