We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible, and organised person to join the Hepatology team at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. If you enjoy working with a wide variety of people, enjoy new challenges and meet tight deadlines, we want to hear from you.
The post holder will require excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and good organisational/interpersonal skills. They should also be able to independently manage their own workload.
This is a part-time, band 3 post working 4 days per week. The role is split between 3 days of administrative support for the Hep C team and 1 day of administrative support for the new ED BBV Opt Out testing scheme.
Main duties of the job
1. To be responsible for the accurate entry of data to computerised databases, using all computer systems relevant to the role.
2. Manage patient communications both via telephone and through Trust systems to create letters, emails, and text reminders.
3. To act as a point of contact for queries from clinical and non-clinical staff relating to the CQUIN.
4. Liaise with clinical and non-clinical teams across the Trust via telephone and email.
5. To show a caring and professional approach towards patients, relatives, and carers.
6. To organise weekly departmental CQUIN project meetings including compiling the agenda, taking minutes, and maintaining the action log.

Qualifications and Training
* Educated to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
* IT Skills or qualifications to ECDL/RSA standard.
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of interpreting and extracting information from paper and electronic records, including use of clinical information systems.
* Experience of working with computer systems.
* Experience of working as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Experience of NHS working and working with Multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience of dealing with the public.
