Supplier Relationship Manager – UK & Ireland
Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days in our central London office, 2 days WFH) (Preferred)
Tracoin, part of The Travel Corporation, is seeking a Supplier Relationship Manager to manage hotel contracting across the UK & Ireland for Contiki, Costsaver, and Travel Corporation Asia. In this role, you’ll focus on negotiating top deals, building strong relationships, and securing the best accommodations for our guests. You’ll collaborate with the Deputy Director of Hotels, Area Manager, and Senior SRM to ensure seamless and high-value accommodation offerings.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Negotiating the best possible rates, terms & conditions for accommodation services, ensuring the highest overall value for our brands.
* Ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met in alignment with brand expectations.
* Building strong relationships with hotel partners, from large chains to independent owners, maintaining transparency while safeguarding Tracoin and TTC business needs.
* Collaborating across teams, working with the Area Manager, Senior SRMs, and other SRMs to achieve regional and departmental goals.
* Managing transitions by ensuring smooth handovers when locations are reallocated, providing product and commercial training as needed.
* Conducting hotel inspections while traveling to contracted locations, maintaining service quality.
* Keeping up with market trends, competition, and hotel offerings, while working with Travel Experiences to enhance our accommodation options.
* Working closely with Business Support teams to ensure finalized deals are processed accurately via Airtable, DocuSign, and Tropics.
* Liaising with the Hotel Allocations team, supporting booking gap management and book-outs, and balancing the interests of Tracoin, TTC, and partners.
* Training Procurement Executives responsible for contracted locations, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to manage bookings efficiently.
* Delivering product training to teams across Tracoin, Operations, Travel Experiences, QC, and Sales to ensure seamless execution.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in supplier relationship management, within the hotel and travel industry
* Strong track record of negotiating and managing contracts with hotel suppliers
* Previous experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key hotel partners and suppliers
* Knowledge of the hotel industry, including trends, market dynamics, and operational requirements
* Experience working with cross-functional teams to align on supplier strategies and goals
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple supplier accounts and contracts simultaneously
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Understanding of market trends and customer needs to ensure the supplier portfolio aligns with business objectives.
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on collaboration and problem resolution
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft office (o365, teams, word, excel & outlook)
* Full and clean driving license
