Thrive Recruitment Group is seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher to join a specialist Area Resource Base (ARB) supporting students with complex learning difficulties and disabilities. About the Role:
As a Specialist ARB Teacher, you will:
✔️ Plan and deliver high-quality, personalised learning for students aged 11-16 with complex needs
✔️ Create inclusive and engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
✔️ Support students in both the ARB setting and integrate them into mainstream education where appropriate
✔️ Work closely with multi-agency teams, SEN specialists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students
✔️ Promote a positive and supportive learning environment
✔️ Be part of a collaborative and ambitious team dedicated to SEND education
What We're Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in an SEN or ARB setting
✅ Strong understanding of complex learning difficulties, EHCPs, and personalised education plans
✅ A positive and proactive approach to supporting students with additional needs
✅ Experience working in a multi-agency environment to improve student outcomes
✅ Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
✅ A passion for developing teaching and leadership skills within a specialist setting
