G7 Leadership Operate in line with the G7 success profile behaviour of Leadership, acting as a role model and displaying the behaviours expected of a leader in the UK Space Agency (aligned to the CS Leadership Statement). Demonstrate effective financial acumen through accurate budget holder reporting and finance management over the set reporting periods. Play an active role in delivering the UK Space Agency Responsible Pioneers People Strategy. 2. HR Business Partner (HRBP) As an HRBP you will be the senior point of contact for strategic advice across specific UK Space Agency Directorates. This will mean advising across the entire breadth of the People priorities including, but not limited to: Performance and Capability supporting the implementation of performance management policies and processes and working with SLTs to build capability within their teams to increase organisational effectiveness. Talent Management supporting the Senior Strategic Workforce Planning Lead to ensure effective talent management and use of talent information to inform succession planning for critical roles. Promote internal and external talent development opportunities to support the growth of talent pipelines within business areas. Resourcing and Strategic Workforce planning working with SLTs to ensure effective resource deployment and workforce planning. Working with them to develop resourcing strategies and plans to support our Places for Growth commitments and operating with headcount budget constraints. Organisation Design and Development supporting SLTs to embed our core Values into their ways of working, and being an independent partner ensuring that teams are structured in the most effective way to support delivery of our objectives. Work closely with Finance Business Partners to support effective allocation of resources through Business Planning activity. Support with SCS HR activities, including resourcing, succession planning, performance, and talent management. Coaching senior leaders to fully explore and identify routes to take for resolution of people issues in their areas. Through the Responsible Pioneers People Strategy, support the implementation of initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, including projects related to ED&I, Wellbeing and Respect at Work. Success will be measured by a clear link to the work of the HRBPs in influencing the successful implementation as set out in the Strategy. Collaborate through your own and CS established networks and GPG Hubs to support cross-CS initiatives. Understand best practice and bring it back into the Agency as part of continuous improvement. Understand the employee lifecycle and forward plan to support critical annual activity, like performance management, business planning & fiscal events, and the CS People Survey. Communicate HR policies, programs and initiatives to employees and support directors to implement where required. Success will be clear collaboration, transparency, and alignment across the Agency. 3. Data Insights Support your G7 HRBP Employee Engagement colleague with the annual activity required for delivery of the CS People Survey. This includes analysis and publication of results and identification of priority focus year on year, working closely and effectively with internal comms and analysist teams. Collaborating with ExCo & SLT and preparing the G6 Head of People Strategy for their bi-monthly update meetings and ad hoc requests. Success will see a shift to a strategic approach and momentum in SLT members addressing issues and making improvements. Lead on the acquisition of People Data for the HRBP Team and effectively use a range of HR Data and Metrics to identify workforce trends and areas of particular interest for discussion and action with SLTs, working alongside the HR Operations Reporting Manager. Translate this data into appropriate Data Dashboards for use across all Directorates to enable data driven conversations for yourself and your G7 HRBP colleague.
