Job Description
* Prepare and load prepayment and accrual journals.
* Manage accounts payable/receivable.
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Review P&L and Balance sheets
* Assist in budget control and financial planning.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.
* Support other team members and departments as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well in a team and independently.
