Job summary The post holder will join our dynamic Safeguarding Support Team to support the Specialist Practitioners and Named Nurse/Professional to deliver the Safeguarding agenda, providing support and advice to clinical teams in the Southampton and Southwest Hampshire area and across the Trust. You will support in delivering the safeguarding agenda in your area and across the Trust, developing and delivering training and providing responsive supervision with complex cases both face to face and by telephone. You will need to have a good adult safeguarding knowledge and a commitment to the Family Approach model of safeguarding. Main duties of the job You will need effective communication and listening skills and be able to demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills to enhance decision making in relation to the protection of adults, children and young people across our Trust. As a team player, you will need to be able to prioritise your work and be flexible in order to meet deadlines and the needs of the Safeguarding Support Team and Trust.
