About the role This role will lead the development and implementation of the Skincare learning agenda for No7 Beauty Company, leveraging all things digital to enhance learning experiences for global colleagues across the business. This strategic role combines instructional design methodologies with innovative technologies to create impactful learning interventions that improve business performance. Reporting to the Head of Global Beauty Academy and with a dotted line to the Global Education Manager, this commercially driven role will help shape the global skincare education and credentialing strategy across multiple beauty brands, aligning learning initiatives with business goals to enhance performance through exceptional learning experiences. As the strategic education lead, you’ll direct and lead the end-to-end design and deployment of skincare learning programs, with a focus on customer-facing teams across EMEA, APAC, and the USA, ensuring our teams worldwide are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver commercial outputs through excellent customer experiences. As a people-centred learning expert, you’ll bring proven experience in engaging, developing, and empowering diverse teams, maximising their strengths to achieve excellent results. You will also: Work with the Global Education Manager to develop the global skincare learning agenda. Lead on the development of the Skin School education programme, creating a long-term strategy that enables external audiences to access industry leading expertise. Ensure all skincare-related learning initiatives comply with regulations and standards. Collaborate with accreditation bodies to develop programs that meet industry standards and enhance credentials. Work with the digital team to trial, launch and develop in store advisor technology interventions, ensuring all brand requirements are met and launches are right first time. Ensure all blended learning follows instructional design principles and adult learning theory. Integrate DE&I principles into the learning strategy and team practices. Use data-driven insights and evidence-based practices to guide decision making. Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships and stakeholder relationships across No7 Beauty Company and Boots UK. Stay current with emerging learning and beauty trends, with a focus on digital innovation. What you’ll need to have Experience in learning and development practice, with expertise in instructional design or content management Strong background in developing large-scale learning programs for both retail and corporate environments. Project management skills, with a track-record of successfully delivering complex initiatives. In-depth knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies Proficiency in digital learning, including familiarity with LMS platforms, e-Learning tools, and multimedia content creation. Proven experience in skincare and/or cosmetics training ·Ability to travel nationally and internationally for brand events, training, and market visits. It would be good if you also have: CIPD Level 3 or above, or equivalent 3 years of experience in beauty retail, including hands-on shopfloor experience. Project management skills, with a track-record of successfully delivering complex initiatives. Proficiency in social media platforms, content creation tools, and analytics.
