An exciting opportunity to join Wilson Tools as a Business Administration Level 3 Apprentice. You will develop transferable skills through supporting our HR, customer service, and marketing teams on a wide variety of tasks. This is a unique position that will liaise with and assist employees and leaders across the Company.
Hours: This role would be working on our day shift (8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am - 3.00pm on Fridays)
Duration: 1 year 6 months
What you’ll do at work
The apprentice will learn how to:
* Assist with HR administration
* Maintain employee information on HR systems
* Coordinate the Occupational Health programme
* Coordinate training courses as required
* Uniform and safety boots ordering
* Scanning personnel information onto the digital system
* Creating general HR letters and documentation
* Creating and distributing employee communications including weekly newsletters, posters and updating TV screen slideshows
Provide General administration, including:
* Conducting DVLA driving license checks
* Coordinating MOT and servicing for company vehicles
* Event coordination, including charity initiatives
* Arranging hotels, transfers, catering and agendas for visits
* Managing the post
* Ordering office supplies
Assist with Customer Service functions, including:
* Chasing deliveries for the sales desk using shipping partner systems
* Filling out supplier forms
Assist with Marketing administration, including:
* Producing regular reports using Microsoft Excel & SAP
* Assisting with customer visit coordination and execution
* Coordinating sample plates and marketing literature for sales teams
Note: This job description is not exhaustive, and the jobholder may be expected to perform other reasonable duties as and when required.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organization. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Business administrator (level 3), equal to A level.
Course contents
* Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organization in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyze data.
* Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals.
* Exercises proactivity and good judgment. Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning.
* Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organization.
* Demonstrates good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms.
* Completes tasks to a high standard and demonstrates the necessary level of expertise required to complete tasks.
* Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, manages priorities and time in order to successfully meet deadlines.
* Uses relevant project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor and report.
Your training plan
* One day per week would be based at New College Swindon completing a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship.
* Knowledge, skills behaviours as set in the Business Administrator Standard.
* On the job training in your role.
Requirements
GCSE in:
* Maths and English (grade pass/4/C and above)
