- £75,000 Monday Friday – 40 hours per week 6% Pension 32 days annual leave Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Leave Death in Service Employee Assistance Programme The Role Deliver the Engineering Strategy: Boost operational efficiency (OEE), build a robust talent pipeline, and ensure efficient spare parts and financial management.
Inspire and Develop Teams: Lead by example, fostering a culture that aligns with our company values.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply best practices from across the business and beyond to enhance processes at our Hamilton site.
Engage Stakeholders: Communicate strategies effectively with both internal teams and senior business leaders to ensure alignment and drive sustained success.
Essential Experience: Proven leadership in a similar engineering role within a fast-paced manufacturing sector (FMCG preferred).
A strong background in leading, managing, and developing teams.
Demonstrable success in delivering change management and performance improvements.
Skills & Competencies: Exceptional communication skills to influence and present to senior stakeholders.
A proactive and adaptable approach, with the perseverance to overcome challenges.
Excellent attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Competence with Excel and other relevant software tools.
Desirable Qualifications: Degree or HND in Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience with operational excellence programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
