About the Role
CHSW delivers services to children and their families who have a palliative care need and meet the agreed referral criteria. The CHSW ethos is to support the whole family and our current delivery model includes care wherever the child is when they need it most including care at the hospice base, at home and virtual support. This role will be a key part of the Senior Care Leadership Team working to support the three hospice teams.
There will be a close working relationship with all three Heads of Care and the other central roles and the wider CHSW teams.
Working closely with the Deputy Director of Care (Clinical), Heads of Care, Leads and hospice teams to lead the Governance Agenda ensuring compliance in all aspects. This includes working with Heads of Care to meet CQC requirements, compliance monitoring and business reporting, Information Governance and to lead the Patient Safety agenda.
About You
You will be a Registered Nurse and have proven experience in a clinical Quality Governance role within the healthcare sector and have specialties and knowledge gained through degree level qualification and/or significant work-based experience. An enthusiastic, self-motivated individual you will provide robust and effective visible leadership on the quality governance agenda and undertake audits and reporting as well as a good working knowledge of IG regulations, data protection and the NHS digital toolkit.
We are looking for someone who understands the role of a hospice and shares the core values and behaviours of the organisation, an approachable confident leader who ensures quality is accessible and achievable for everyone. The post holder must be able to work independently and also collaboratively with a wide range of care and medical staff and managers at all levels. The ability to work with IT and technology is essential.
This post can be based at any of our Hospice locations and to ensure visibility and support, will also be required to travel to all three hospices.
