Mission:
Working in the HR Business Partnering team, this role will be responsible for providing HR support across annual HR campaign activity (Performance, Reward, Talent, Engagement), leading on specific HRBP projects and leading Workforce Planning to enable our zone wide 'People First' strategy.
Furthermore, this role will be a critical member of the HR business partnering community, sharing best practice and ensuring commonality and consistency of outcomes across the UK and Ireland zone.
Location: Ideally Midlands but we are open to other locations in England. This role will be based from one of our office hubs (preferably Coventry, Leeds or London). In this role you will be working in a hybrid mode, with the typical expectation of 40% in the office, 60% remote.
What will you do?
1. People LifeCycle: Key link between our Centres of Excellence and HR Business Partners to efficiently and effectively ensure the successful delivery of our annual campaign programme across the UK and Ireland territory.
2. Workforce Planning: You will work with the HR Business Partners to collect, analyze, and interpret workforce data to forecast staffing needs and identify trends. You will also collaborate with our Centres of Excellence within HR to assess future workforce requirements and develop strategic plans. Prepare and present reports on workforce metrics, including turnover rates, headcount, and employee performance.
3. Reporting: Prepare and present reports on workforce metrics, including turnover rates, headcount, and employee performance. Collaborate closely with Finance to integrate workforce metrics into the Financial budgeting process.
4. HR Project delivery: Leading on the planning, delivery and review of HR projects and transformations, linked to our People First Strategy that focuses on the three pillars of 1. Brilliant Basics, 2. Talent and Skills, 3. Leadership and Culture.
5. Cross-Business Unit change and transformations: Linked to our key performance metrics in HR, this role will work across business units to ensure the consistent delivery and adoption of best practices in aid of our excelling our key performance measures for HR (e.g. Engagement, DE&I representation).
6. Change management: Providing support and resources to effectively deliver and embed organisational changes within the department, in service of both HRBP project delivery and the broader People First strategy.
7. Talent Scout: In line with UKI ambition to be #1 Talent Factory in Europe, actively scout talent, build your network, support leaders to coach, develop and grow their talents.
8. High Performance: The role requires the facilitation of remediating complex employee issues as required as well as strong employment practice & knowledge of the UK, to ultimately raise the bar in driving High Performance culture.
9. First team first: Ability to connect across the HR business partnering team, spotting opportunities for collaboration to avoid duplication and increased resource levels, to drive consistency of experience and outcomes across the different departments.
What will help you to be successful?
* Ideally degree qualified or have the equivalent amount of work place experience.
* Ideally CIPD qualified, with active employment law knowledge.
* Experienced in HR across generalist and specialist roles.
* Experience of managing an organisational change project in their area of business.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
* Ability to build strong relationships, offering the right consultative and coaching support and challenge to key stakeholders.
* Strong Employee Relations background and experience of managing complex cases to a successful resolution.
* Strong data management skills.
* Ability to work with & manage highly sensitive and confidential data.
* Relentless drive & commitment to achieve results and challenge the status quo.
* Fluent English.
