What You Will Do:
1. Clean components prior to the assembly process and perform assembly in line with technical specifications.
2. Engage in rework and fitting of components, ensuring precision and adherence to standards.
3. Utilise precision measurement tools and calculate shim sizes using mathematical formulas for accurate assembly.
4. Maintain full traceability of components with diligent paperwork and digital documentation management.
5. Operate and record results from automated test rigs, contributing to the quality assurance process.
6. Collate components for final packing, ensuring the preservation and readiness of completed assemblies.
What You Will Bring:
7. Proven experience in a precision assembly or mechanical fitting environment.
8. Strong multi-tasking abilities and the capability to work independently, managing time effectively.
9. A high level of attention to detail and conscientiousness.
10. Comfortable with IT basics, including Microsoft Office, and basic mathematical equations.
11. Desirable: Experience with transmission assembly, repair, or overhaul.

Location:
This role is based in the beautiful city of Bath, offering a picturesque working environment alongside its technological and engineering excellence.
Hours working 37 hour week, full time, salary of GBP15.41 per hour. plus 1.3 shift allowance, on a double day shift, Mon - Thurs (phone number removed)pm, Friday (phone number removed)pm and the following week, Mon-Wed 2pm-12.00 and Thurs 2-11.00pm and Friday off.
