Rated as Outstanding in our latest CQC report, and determined to keep it that way, Windy Ridge Care Home is a traditional style seaside house within walking distance of the sea. We have up to 21 residents who require nursing care for physical or mental health conditions, or need end-of-life care. A true home from home, our residents have input in deciding on décor, activities and menus, and are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible.
Role:
To keep our beautiful and friendly home running smoothly, we need an experienced administrator to join our team for 25 hours per week 9am - 2pm. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and payroll experience. Your duties will include:
1. Welcoming visitors to our home
2. Preparing payroll
3. Ordering supplies
4. Billing and receipt of monies
5. Preparing reports for various agencies
6. Paperwork for new starters
7. General administration duties
8. Clerical support for the home manager
Attention to detail is vital.
Experience/Qualification:
* Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
* Suitable qualifications in Maths and English
* Previous experience in handling money and payroll
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
