Key Responsibilities
• Full responsibility for managing clients, which will be made up of individuals and
small; medium sized LTD companies
• Communicate directly and maintain positive relationships with clients, as their first
point of contact
• Management of a growing team of bookkeepers, including reviewing their work and
managing intra-team relationships
• Reporting key information to Senior Management (Ben)
• Bookkeeping (predominantly via reviewing of work completed by others, and
working through non-standard transactions)
• VAT return preparation and submission
• Preparation and submission of annual accounts and corporation tax returns
• Preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns for individuals
• Preparation and submission of confirmation statements
• Tax planning, for individuals and companies
• Ad hoc financial reporting projects as and when required
Essential Attributes
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• Prior, significant experience of using Xero
• Ability to work remotely
• Accountability
