We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to come and join our friendly and supportive team based in Glastonbury. You could be a newly qualified Occupational Therapist or an OT looking for a new challenge.
We have 2 in-patient units at West Mendip Hospital and Glastonbury Care Home.
In this role, you will be working with in-patients as part of the pathways 2/3 team. We work with a variety of patients who often come from acute hospitals to complete their rehabilitation.
You will be supported on-site by an experienced team leader, who is an occupational therapist and a band 6 OT to develop your skills in working holistically with patients.
Free on-site parking in both units.
Full time, but part time working and job share considered. Part agile, flexible working, and secondments also considered.
You may be required to travel between intermediate care bedded units and therefore use of your own car would be advantageous but not essential.
Informal conversations and visits welcome, please contact Anita Vowles, Team leader at Anita.vowles@somersetFT.nhs.uk, 01458836474, or Sarah Higgins, Discharge Pathway Manager at Sarah.Higgins2@somersetFT.nhs.uk.
