The Senior Business Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiencies, including office and administrative management, financial oversight, and organization, provider and clinical coordination, and management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide project management support to strategic initiatives.
* Manage the Clinical Operations and the MSP Budget.
* Responsible for financial transactions and the development and management of purchase orders and payments.
* Directly supervise staff who assist in the operations of the Division.
* Overall administrative oversight for the Division.
* Responsible for the security and retention of administrative records.
* Interpret policies and implement operating procedures.
* Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
1. A. Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, business administration, management, or a closely related field.
2. OR
3. B. Three (3) years of work experience in accounting, business administration, fiscal management, or closely related experience.
4. OR
5. C. A combination of such education and/or work experience totaling three (3) years.
AND
1. Two (2) years of work experience in accounting, business administration, financial operations, fiscal management, or closely related experience, including one (1) year at a supervisory or administrative level.
NOTE: A Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.
