Experienced Maintenance Technician / Engineer required to work for Global manufacturer at their Plymouth based site. As part of the Manufacturing Engineering Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment through performing regular PM tasks and other maintenance activities as required according to the equipment maintenance plan.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain equipment by performing AM/PM activities, ensuring activities are completed on-time and executed according to the plan.
2. Work closely with Maintenance Planner to ensure maintenance tasks are well documented.
3. Conduct regular maintenance audits of equipment, identifying potential continuous improvement opportunities to improve PM program effectiveness.
4. Provide leadership for TPM activities as assigned.
5. Support the organisation and preparation of spare parts and other applicable materials required to complete maintenance tasks for planned maintenance periods and equipment rebuild program.
6. Attend during plant shut down periods to perform maintenance activities.
7. Provide support to the manufacturing unit technical teams as required to ensure optimal equipment performance.
8. Assist with technical development and training opportunities for unit technical staff on all shifts.
9. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Candidate Attributes Required:
1. Proven Engineering experience gained from a high volume, automated manufacturing environment.
2. City & Guilds, HND, HNC, BTEC or Time Served Apprenticeship in either Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
3. Excellent problem solving abilities coupled with excellent communication skills is essential.
4. IT literacy.
5. A process driven and methodical approach is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to work day shift as follows:
Monday's Wednesday's & Friday's - 08:00 to 16:00.
Tuesday's & Thursday's - 06:00 to 14:00.
