This will be based in the Company's site in Ballymena - Monday - Friday (Day Shift) - Permanent Role Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 Fantastic Benefits Package - Yearly Salary Reviews - Progression Opportunities Responsibilities: Production Planning and Execution Develop and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory targets. Quality Control and Compliance Ensure all products meet internal and external quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to conduct routine inspections and quality tests. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including health and environmental guidelines. Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and lower costs. Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize production efficiency. Team Management and Development Supervise and manage a team of production staff, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance management. Conduct training for new hires and ongoing development for existing team members to enhance skills and knowledge. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management Promote a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to all HSE policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Oversee and participate in emergency response drills and training. Reporting and Documentation Maintain accurate records of production outputs, equipment maintenance, and personnel activities. Generate reports on production metrics and performance for senior management review. Monitor inventory levels and work with the warehouse team to manage stock and minimize waste. Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure raw materials are available and production timelines are met. Monitor production metrics (e.g., yield, efficiency, downtime) and adjust processes to maximize efficiency. The Ideal Person: 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the chemical or coagulant industry. Knowledge of production management software and ERP systems. Familiarity with quality control systems and regulatory compliance in chemical manufacturing.
