Job summary The Beacon Health Group Partnership is looking for a salaried GP to join their busy Danbury practice to carry out all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. We are open to various working patterns and number of weekly sessions, however a Monday and a Friday will be a requirement. We believe that a work/life balance is key to staff wellbeing and as a result we encourage flexible working patterns from the start. Main duties of the job As a benefit of the size of the group, we are able to handle patients in a way not possible by smaller surgeries. We have focused these to benefit our salaried GPs as much as possible. We have a duty hub which is manned by a GP Partner, along with other non GP clinicians for managing on the day care. We also have a large team of clinical pharmacists and team of practice nurses and healthcare assistant, and also a GP support team to assist in the processing and handling of the administrative aspects of the role. This support role is designed to ensure that we are always clinically safe and to reduce the admin workload. The main site, Danbury Medical Centre is based in the village of Danbury. We have two smaller branch sites which are Mountbatten House Surgery (based in North Springfield) and Moulsham Lodge Surgery (based in central Chelmsford). The Beacon Health Group is now able to offer our patients a wider variety of services ranging from chronic disease clinics to minor surgery services (performed within the new purpose built Minor Surgery Suite based at Danbury). We also provide Friday extended morning appointments between 7.00am-8.00am, Monday and Wednesday evening appointments between 6.30pm-8.00pm provided by GPs and Nurses.
