Contracts/Projects Manager - Oak Facades
What you will be doing:
* Assisting the Operations Manager with the management of sites across the country
* Producing reports for Senior Management/Board
* Managing client and client expectations, planning projects, and ensuring they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays
* Ensuring procurement and reconciliation of materials are carried out in accordance with Company procedures to best value and to prevent delays
* Ensuring site team compliance with Company commercial policies and procedures
* Attending tender handover meetings and delivering pre-start meetings to the site team
* Ensuring a commercial plan and end-of-life forecast is in place and monitored monthly for the successful commercial delivery of the project
* Producing and analysing progress reports, updated costs, and forecasts
* Ensuring correct commercial engagement of subcontractors
* Implementing the risk management process, reviewing the risk register, and checking risk controls
* Ensuring weekly review of progress, budget resources, and forward planning are carried out, and lookahead programmes are in place
* Chairing and attending internal and external meetings and ensuring the production of accurate records of any discussions and actions
* Ensuring timely management of both temporary and permanent design to meet the requirements of each project
* Setting the highest possible standards of leadership in the promotion of HS&E procedures and best practice, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations
* Maintaining and managing construction sites and subcontractors
* Overseeing and ensuring that HSE-related documents are kept up to date and undertaking senior manager site inspections, ensuring that audits and reports are produced, liaising with the necessary parties
About You:
* A good understanding of PSCAs 1 or 2 stage
* Highly experienced with Façade remediation
* Experience in commercial and residential developments
* Good knowledge of Contract administration (JCT)
* Able to lead and motivate
* Good knowledge of Asta
* Fully IT conversant
* A problem solver and 'thinking out of the box'
