Leicestershire County Council, Operational Property have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Assistant on the Property Services Help Desk.
About the Role
To act as the first point of contact for schools, academies, client departments, and members of the public for all property-related matters. To resolve a wide range of complex issues relating to electrical, plumbing, and building facilities.
Working within a small team taking calls and actioning requests by email for a wide variety of issues, providing members of the public with information relating to Country Parks and playing a key role in the operation of County Hall.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
1. Have worked in a call centre environment dealing with complaints
2. Have knowledge of different trades
3. Be familiar with facilities management services
4. Be able to report and maintain records accurately and efficiently
5. Able to demonstrate good customer care
6. Take responsibility for planning and organising your own work
7. Keep team members informed of progress and problems in a timely manner
8. Have effective written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate well with internal and external customers
