Wrightbus wbstaff Job Title: Program Head Department: Program Management Office Purpose of Post To manage and facilitate New Program Introduction, from concept to commercialisation, supporting the strategic goals of the company. Key Tasks 1. Report to and assist the Chief Program Officer 2. Manage all aspects of the program process, including: Set and maintain program timelines Set program strategy for cost and timing optimisation Achievement of company objectives Manage delivery of all functions to meet the program budget and business requirements. Meet sales and commercial requirements. Meet production requirements. Co-ordinate internal and external stakeholders. Produce weekly progress reports, and exec team reports 3. Establish program meeting cadence weekly/bi-weekly/monthly. Ensure transparent communication is encouraged throughout the projects. 4. Manage program gateways/milestones, including follow-up 5. Partner with the Cross functional Management teams to ensure objectives are achieved. 6. Ensure customer specifications are managed in line with budget expectations. 7. Co-ordinate solutions to both technical and commercial challenges. 8. Ensure process change control procedures are adhered to and communicated. 9. Assist the various departments in pre-customer, sign off / acceptance. 10. Conduct post review of program for improvement points and closed loop feedback. 11. Manage daily running of the program with each functional Project Managers. 12. Complete annual appraisals and ensure these are reviewed and set to the company objectives. General 1. Undertake all duties in line with general data protection and maintain utmost level of confidentiality. 2. Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard. 3. Ensure that you treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner in accordance with the dignity at work procedure. 4.
