Main duties of the job The Director of Medical Education will provide leadership to further develop and implement strategy and policy to ensure that our colleagues develop the knowledge, skills, and competence to achieve the University Hospital Northamptonshire (UHN) key operational objectives. The post holder will develop strategic partnerships locally, regionally, and nationally to help achieve these goals. You will be required to provide leadership, strategic direction and vision for the assurance, management and delivery of postgraduate and undergraduate medical education across UHN. This role is responsible for the quality of the learning environment provided by UHN for all Medical learner. The overall objective is to deliver the highest standards of education, thereby supporting UHN and wider partners to produce a competent, committed, compassionate and courageous workforce across our locality delivering the best healthcare possible.
