Team Manager (Registered) Location: Penicuik Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37 per week Salary: £35,700 - £47,700 About the Job The team manager will be responsible for leading and managing the residential care services for children and young people (aged 5-18) with learning disabilities and/or autism and complex care needs. The role involves supporting these individuals and their families to achieve positive outcomes. Day-to-Day of the Role: Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Service. Providing management and leadership to the staff team. Delivering monthly supervision and monitoring the quality of work. Ensuring high levels of performance in the best interests of the children. Understanding budgets and chairing/attending external meetings. Working closely with the Team Managers of the other Services. Participating in the on-call rota across three services. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven UK only experience in managing a team within a residential care setting. Direct experience and knowledge in supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and proactively. Must be registered with the Care Inspectorate and SSSC. Excellent understanding of safeguarding practices and commitment to the welfare of children.
