Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multiskilled Engineer with expertise in PLC programming and SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automation systems across our manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Program, configure, and maintain PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley) for industrial machinery. Develop, implement, and troubleshoot SCADA systems to monitor and control manufacturing processes. Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment. Collaborate with design and production teams to integrate automation solutions into machinery. Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning for new and upgraded equipment. Identify and implement improvements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and safety. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards in all engineering activities. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and procedures. Qualifications and Skills: HND, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in a multiskilled engineering role with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems. Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley). Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.). Hands-on experience with machinery maintenance and diagnostics in a manufacturing environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and practices. Effective communication and teamwork skills to work across various departments. Preferred Skills: Experience with robotics and motion control systems. Familiarity with HMI programming and design.
