We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Up to £62,000 commensurate on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Work with the Senior Commercial Manager to oversee and deliver £80m of business in our Under Water Weapons (UWW) sector within the Products group with the BAE Systems Maritime Services business unit Operate at both a strategic and tactical level through the direct ownership of delivering the commercial aspects of specific projects as well as acting as the deputy to the UWW Senior Commercial Manager Provide guidance and support to ensure high levels of both operational and functional performance Provide hands on commercial management within complex domestic and export bids and projects Lead negotiations, develop pricing and business winning strategies and obtain internal approvals As one of the senior members of the Products commercial team you will play an active role in the management and development of the overall commercial team Develop, maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external customers and stakeholders Your skills and experiences: Essential: Established Commercial background with strong commercialcontractual skills gained from a commercial career In depth professional knowledge of Commercial principles, techniques, and practices with an understanding of how Commercial roles fit into an organisation as a whole Comfortable with working with both detailed contractual issues as well as broader holistic strategic objectives Strong analytical and numerical skills and proficient with all Microsoft Office products and confident presenting and communication skills Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
