Supply Teaching Assistant Based in South Bristol Full time Supply basis SEN school If you are an experienced SEN teaching assistant, looking for flexible work within South Bristol from September, this could be the role for you Long - Term teachers are working with a lovely SEN school that supports early years to post 16 students, all of which have EHCP. Needs of the students vary from learning, physical, behavioural and social, emotional and mental health needs, They pride themselves on their happy welcoming atmosphere that enables students to feel nurtured, valued and capable of achieving their very best. We are seeking candidates who are confident and experienced working with complex educational, medical and behavioural needs. The appropriate candidate will be able to implement varied behaviour management strategies, be nurturing and empathetic when working in this setting. Key duties: Managing behaviour Supporting class teacher to prepare activities Making display boards Break time duty Offering emotional support Admin About you: Must have experience of working with children with SEN Good organisational skills Ability to take initiative Good team player Good sense of humour Excellent safeguarding knowledge This will be a flexible role that can work around your schedule, however you will be expected to work 8:30am - 3:30pm.
