About the role We are seeking a proactive individual with a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. As the Learning and Development Officer, you will be responsible for planning, organising and overseeing the training programs throughout the business, to enhance the skills and knowledge of our people. You will be required to assess departmental training needs through consultation with managers and department leads, identify skill and knowledge gaps and create relevant training plans to address identified areas. You will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of induction programmes for new starters and will also be the key point of contact and support for our apprentices. You will also maintain and update training records on appropriate systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Based at our manufacturing site in Colwick, Nottingham, you’ll be employed on a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week. What will I need to be considered for this opportunity? Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relative field. Proven experience within learning and development, training coordination, or a similar role. A strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in training & development. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, such as Word, Outlook and Excel Excellent time management and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication Commitment to continuous improvement and personal development Although not essential, a CIPD Level 3 qualification would be highly advantageous.
