Job Opportunity: Electrical Project Supervisor
Location: Humberside/Lincolnshire Regions
Are you a skilled and experienced Electrical Project Supervisor with Hazardous Area experience? Due to growth we have exciting opportunities for additional Project Supervisors to join our dynamic team!
Position Overview:
Electrical Project Supervisors will oversee and manage some of our electrical projects. The ideal candidates must have Hazardous Area experience and be based in the Humberside or Lincolnshire regions, with the ability to work away from home Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage electrical projects from inception to completion
* Ensure compliance with specification/regulations and standards, including BS EN 60079 series through relevant QA checks
* Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
* Monitor project progress, and schedules, and provide regular updates to management
* Management of procurement/materials required for projects with Project Engineer
* Recording delays and escalating as necessary through company procedures such as Early Warning Notices
* Submitting Technical Queries and Requests for information
* Redline drawings to as built
* Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
* Provide technical support and guidance to the project team
* Carrying out hands on work such as ATEX Inspections/rectifications as required
* Management and implementation of FES and Client’s safety rules/systems
* Participate in client safety audits ensuring that FES systems are up to date and presented for client audit (Toolbox talk, point of work risk assessments, up to date personnel competency file etc)
* Preparing handover documentation for final review and submission
Qualifications:
* CompEx Ex01-Ex04 qualification is mandatory
* SSSTS qualification desirable
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Supervisor on industrial projects
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, regulations, and industry standards
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work away from home Monday to Friday
* Based in the Humberside or Lincolnshire regions
