Residential Hub Officer (Part-time 22.5 hours)
The Facilities Hub is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic team member to join the Facilities & Support Services Team in the role of Residential Hub Officer.
You will deliver the “one stop shop” service within the Walsall Facilities Hub, providing administrative support for all services delivered by Facilities from within the Hub.
The job is student facing with a key role in dealing with student accommodation and campus issues on a day-to-day basis. A willingness to help others, find solutions and ensure excellent customer services is paramount.
You will play a key role in ensuring students enjoy all aspects of their stay in accommodation, liaising with other departments within the University to ensure this happens. You will support the Hub Manager in the monitoring and compliance with Residential Policies and Procedures, dealing with breaches as they arise, initiating the University’s disciplinary procedures when appropriate and involving relevant internal/external agencies as necessary.
Although primarily based at Walsall Campus you may be required to work at any of the University Campuses as dictated by the business. The role is part time and would ordinarily be based over three days (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) although you may be required on occasion to work alternative days and to work some Saturdays to cover Student Open Days.
If you think that you would enjoy working in a student-facing environment this is the role for you.
