We’re looking for a new
Accounts Payable Assistant to join the Beaverbrook Team, the ideal candidate
must be an enthusiastic team player who is proactive and organized. You’ll have
excellent attention to detail, not be afraid of hard work and looking for a new
challenge working in a fast paced, ever evolving Accounts team.
The Accounts Payable
Assistant will be part of a small but friendly team of finance professionals
and will ideally have previous experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable
function.
What you’ll be doing:
* Ensure
that all invoices, credit notes and payments are processed accurately and
promptly, within the agreed timeframes. Invoices are a mixture of
automated (via Procure Wizard) and manually processed.
* Complete
monthly statement reconciliations and reviews.
* Manage
business and supplier queries, ensuring all issues are resolved within a
timely manner and payment delays do not result in issues with the
suppliers.
* Review
expense claims and ensure posted correctly.
* Liaising
with colleagues ensuring that invoices are approved and any queries
resolved.
Who you are:
* Excellent
attention to detail
* Self-motivated,
able to work towards deadlines.
* Able to
work independently, as well as a strong team player.
* Previous
experience in an Accounts Payable role, desirable.
This role may be ideal for
someone looking to start their career in finance. We are happy to discuss the
opportunity to gain formal qualifications.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30.
Salary: Up to £28,000 plus
