Job description
Vacancy: Maintenance Surveyor
Closing Date: Sunday 6th April 2025

Salary: £39,714.07
Purpose of the role:
To technically survey and provide work specifications for maintenance or void repairs within the maintenance services team, ensuring that all properties meet WHQS and HHSRS compliance and that all property matters conform to current legislation and contract procurement regulations.
Specifically, in this role you will:
1. Support the delivery of an efficient customer focused technical service delivered within the association policies and procedures, satisfying legal and regulatory requirements and ensuring best practice as well as meeting agreed service delivery standards.
2. Undertake pre-inspections, post-inspections, emergency inspections, pre-transfer inspections, mutual exchange inspections on site to all NCH properties and within agreed timescales. Measure repairs works to agreed specifications.
3. Order works and associated resources following inspection, liaising with all stakeholders and contractors on timescales for completion prior to issuing orders. Where required, request and record all relevant RAMS/COSHH when managing internal or external supply chain.
4. Maintain robust insurance inspections programmes and liaise with our insurance colleagues in processing any and all works in line with our organisational procedures. Act accordingly in mitigating any risk to the association.
5. Work closely with other relevant service areas and provide guidance, technical expertise to ensure coordinated information is available and disseminated to all interested partners.
