We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project manager to manage Escalator installation projects, being responsible for cooperation with customers, internal and external stakeholders.
As a Project Manager, you will coordinate the activities of your assigned projects to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within the agreed schedule and budget, using approved KONE methodologies and tools. You will be in daily contact with our clients, subcontractors and your KONE colleagues. You will be the coordinator, keeping all parties working together smoothly.
What would a typical day look like?
1. You will be overseeing and monitoring the execution of the installation project. You will work with your colleagues in the installation team, to ensure productivity gains and qualitive outcomes
2. You will be in direct contact with our clients. You are their main point-of-contact for their questions and concerns
3. You will review project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
4. You will establish a work plan and staffing for each phase of project
5. You oversee the planning of delivery and storage of materials to the site(s)
6. You coordinate the activities of the project team to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
7. You aim to be an energizing leader who gets the best of others and strives to exceed customer expectations
What will help you succeed in this role?
8. Strong Project Management skills (the size and complexities of these projects require someone with previous experience as a Project Manager)
9. You have preferably worked in the lift or escalator industry before. Experience in Project Management in the wider construction industry would be considered as well.
10. Demonstrated experience within a commercial environment, managing projects at a site level
11. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
12. Planning and Analytical skills
13. Strong organisation skills that allow you to coordinate complex projects
