Your New Role We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our Group IT team on a full-time, permanent basis. The purpose of the IT Project Manager is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects. Reporting to the Principal Project manager, the IT Project Manager will manage the full lifecycle of multiple projects at a given time, ensuring high standards are met. The standard hours of work are based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. You will be responsible for: Analysing project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects. Identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks. Providing leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline a work plan. Establishing a work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Implementing a project communication plan. Performing risk assessment and implement mitigation plans. Monitoring project activities, ensuring the currency, quality and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content and “look and feel” across the organization. Ensuring that project goals are in line with business objectives. Ensuring that project goals are achieved. Directing and coordinating the activities of project personnel to ensure that projects progress on schedule and within budget. Reviewing the status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required. Establishing standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation. Benchmarking project management performance continuously to identify the potential for improvements and increase capability in project and portfolio management.
