Job Title: Product Support Coordinator (Engines / Rolling stock) Location: Scotland, UK (Primarily off-site, covering the region as required) Contract: Full-time, 45 hours per week, salaried (no overtime) salary: £48,000 per annum (negotiable) Job Overview We are seeking a Product Support Engineer (PSE) Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role ensures that our products and services consistently meet customer expectations throughout their lifecycle. The PSE Coordinator will plan, organize, and deliver exceptional support to our customers, working across company sites and at customer locations. This hands-on role involves not only coordinating support activities but also actively working on products as required. Key Responsibilities: 1. Service Delivery Organize and oversee product installations, servicing, and warranty support to ensure safe and efficient operations. 2. Project Management Work closely with the Project Management team to deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated. 3. Quality & Safety Compliance Lead by example in health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. 4. Customer Interaction Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Address complaints promptly and identify opportunities for additional revenue streams. 5. Continuous Improvement Use lean tools and techniques, such as 5S, to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in all operational activities. Person Specification Essential Qualifications Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent. Desirable Qualifications HNC/HND level, NVQ Level 4, or a Foundation degree. Project Management or NEBOSH/IOSH certification. Skills & Experience Strong technical ability in fault finding and team leadership across multiple locations. Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety legislation. Proficient in IT, particularly MS Excel, with the ability to create detailed technical reports.
