Inclusive Consulting is thrilled to be partnered with our longstanding client in their search for a highly skilled and self-motivated Sales Account Manager based in or near Belfast to join them on their journey. The company have been on an unparalleled journey of modernisation and growth, seeing their operations across both NI and ROI expanding and developing. As such, they are now looking for an experienced and assured Sales Account Manager with knowledge of and experience in the metals sector. Our client prides itself on their highly professional operations and service, attributes that you will also demonstrate through your partnerships with both existing and new clients. This opportunity will see 50-60% of your time managing and developing existing accounts, with 40-50% dedicated to developing new business accounts. This is a business-critical role in which you will be reporting directly to the Sales Director, with significant autonomy to grow and develop business opportunities across both manufacturing and project-centric clients. While you will be adaptable to each customer’s requirements, you will maintain a highly professional demeanour and act as a highly competent representative of the company. This role will require regular travel to existing and new customers, while operating from their Belfast site. Key Responsiblities: Nurture and cultivate existing accounts to ensure optimal growth and excellence of service delivery. Full responsibility for achievement of pre-agreed sales and margins targets. Developing suitable contract agreements in full compliance with the company’s strategy and guidelines. Adopt a continual improvement mindset to ensure the company remains ahead of its competitors wherever possible. To proactively identify and onboard new business accounts across both NI and ROI. Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders to ensure high levels of service throughout. Keep an open line of communication with colleagues including sales support, the Sales Director (direct report) and procurement managers. Key Skills and Attributes: Demonstrable sales and account management skills, ideall in the mining/metals sector. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Highly competent presentaiton and negotiation skills. Highly adept at self-motivation. Excellent commercial acumen, able to identify and convert new business opportunities without forsaking service levels or quality. Experience with end-to-end sales desirable. A highly professional demanour and approach, serving as the company’s representative across both NI and ROI. Proven experience working in the mining/metals sector.
