We are seeking a part-time confident CBT/DBT therapist who will monitor, report, and provide psychological support to our service users, promoting choice, well-being, and protection of all individuals in the services based in Manchester.

Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified CBT Therapist to join our team, facilitating therapy on a group and individual basis using a blended model of working which will include working remotely. Candidates will have a recognised postgraduate diploma in CBT therapy and will be a fully accredited member of the BABCP. Applications from candidates working towards accreditation are welcomed, with any salary offered reflecting their non-accredited status.
Candidates will:
1. Be interested in dynamic therapy with clients who are motivated to change.
2. Have experience of and actively use DBT skills & techniques.
3. Provide high-quality interventions in accordance with NICE guidance.
4. Be an inspirational collaborator with excellent communication skills.
5. Have previous experience in the area of acute mental health.
6. Be skilled in the facilitation of a range of group interventions.
7. Be an accredited CBT therapist or working towards accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promote a positive culture and value-led organisation.
2. Support and develop Support Workers to provide person-centred support to those using the service.
3. Deliver and monitor the organisation's ethos of quality service.
4. Meet key legislative requirements.
5. Achieve positive outcomes for service users.
6. Work with multi-agency partners including commissioning authorities and families in the delivery of the support provided.
7. Take part in an on-call rota for out-of-hours service management and support when needed.
8. Support the entire staff team.
9. Participate in assessment, audit, care planning & reviews.
10. Take part in MDTs and any other tasks as required.
11. Provide supervision for the care staff.
Minimum Experience & Qualifications Required:
* Professional Qualification - CBT/DBT.
* Relevant experience within the Health or Social Care Sector.
