Job Responsibilities
* General Cleaning: dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and surfaces
* Sanitation: Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, changing areas, kitchens and other high traffic areas
* Waste management: Emptying bins and ensuring proper waste disposal
* Supply management: Maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand towels, toilet paper and hand wash)
* Specialised cleaning: Undertaking deep cleaning such as window cleaning, carpet cleaning, kitchen equipment, buffering floors, cleaning furniture etc
* Cleaning of kitchen supplies: tea towels, clothes, tablecloths, aprons, etc
* Unpacking deliveries, supporting the office manager as and when required
* Any other duties identified by the line manager
General Requirements
* Comply with all organisational policies and procedures including those related to Safeguarding and Health and Safety
* Participate in and contribute to supervision / appraisal process, team meetings, all relevant training and staff away-days
* Co-operate and liaise with colleagues internally and externally
* Behave in a professional manner at all times
* Make a positive contribution to the vision of Sheffield Mencap and Gateway through their work.
Location: Sheffield
Type of Contract: Part Time
Hours: 12 hours per week
Benefits: 5% pension and 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and health scheme after qualifying period.
