Job Description
As a Property Development Manager, you will be managing a portfolio of Property Developments. You will monitor the ongoing progress, assessment of costs and monitoring of exit strategies for live projects.
You will use your technical building skills and experience to monitor the developments and report back to the Development Funding team to allow the business to release further funds against the project.
As a Property Development Manager, we are looking for someone to:
* Manage a portfolio of development projects including regular visits and consistent contact on a rolling programme. This could include monitoring and assessing build programme & budget, sales and exit strategy, whilst highlighting, assessing and managing any emerging risk in terms of costs or timelines
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Contractors and Property Development teams with a view to leveraging additional opportunities for future builds
* Act as a high level point of contact for customers with issues or concerns and provide appropriate solution and strategy for the benefit of the business
* Actively keep up to date with market conditions – in order that strategies can be reviewed / realigned if changing market conditions dictate
Qualifications
Essential
* This role would suit a Monitoring Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor looking to work on the other side, directly with the Lender
* Technical knowledge of property development
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
