Overview: Are you working in Education looking to move into a rewarding career where you can enrich the lives of learners? We are looking for someone who is truly enthusiastic about the Early Years sector to join our team as a Product Manager. It doesn't matter if you don't have any product management experience; you will use your knowledge and experience of working in an educational setting to help us understand what is needed by practitioners and children to really ignite a child’s imagination and learning. In this role, you will be involved in the development and life cycle of our early years products. TTS is part of the RM Group. RM has been pioneers of education technology since. We provide technology and resources to the education sector supporting over 10 million students around the world. We work with 28, schools, nurseries, and education trusts in countries to deliver customer-centric solutions that improve education outcomes worldwide. What we do helps learners at all stages of their lives, from preschool to higher education and professional qualification; we partner with schools, examination boards, central governments, and other professional institutions to enrich the lives of learners.
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities will be to:
1. Have a deep understanding of the sector and what really matters most to an Early Years setting.
2. Collaborate with the team and our suppliers to select products that will make a difference to an early years’ environment and create compelling Early Years categories.
3. Make valuable connections with Early Years individuals so we can learn and grow.
4. Work with the Category Manager and Early Years team to understand how to build and maintain a commercially viable product range.
5. Work with our marketing and digital teams to present our products in a way that is meaningful to our customers – an Early Years setting.
6. Articulate how a product can be used to facilitate many learning styles.
7. Create innovative product photography, videos, and product copy online to maximize sales.
8. Work with our Innovation team to initiate product ideas that can be sold to settings worldwide and be instrumental in a child’s life.
9. Review and optimize their categories, including product lifecycle management.
Experience:
#Firstly, and most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about the sector and wants to help improve a child’s outcomes globally. You should have:
1. Experience of working/studying in the sector.
2. Good time management and high organization skills.
3. Excellent administration skills and proficiency in applications like Word and Excel.
4. A tactful and diplomatic communication style to engage with all different departments and levels.
5. The ability to build a great network both at TTS and externally.
6. Proactive problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to finish tasks with excellence.
7. Relevant professional qualifications in the sector.
8. A full UK driving licence.
