Business Development Manager now required to join an international company who manufacture steel products for the Oil and Gas, Petrochem industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to sell high-end solutions with typical project values of between £500k – £10m.
The Role
1. You will be selling products to companies such as Woods, Honeywell, McDermott, Ineos, ExxonMobil, BASF, Shell, Total Energies, BP, Dow used in/on installation at refineries, production facilities, power generation plants, and offshore facilities.
2. You will work as part of a small specialist team in the UK, backed by larger teams in Europe, USA, and the Middle East.
3. You will closely collaborate with the team to help secure and win business.
4. You will handle all UK enquiries and be expected to hunt down and tender for new business projects.
About You
1. Able to adapt and learn new products (training and support will be available).
2. You must have a strong track record of selling products to the Oil & Gas, Petrochem industry.
What’s in it for You
1. A basic salary circa £50,000 (DOE).
2. A fantastic commission scheme – 3 orders at the lower order value of £2.5M = OVER £50,000 in commission and the scheme is open-ended.
3. A car allowance.
4. The direct input and great support from your boss who will help you close enquiries once the initial “spade work” has been done.
