University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279) We are looking for a part-time (16 hr) Speciality Coordinator to join our Gastroenterology team at Worthing Hospital.
Manage a full and comprehensive administrative service for the consultants and medical staff.
# Monitor inpatient and outpatient commitments of the consultant and medical team and escalate when appropriate.
# They will support a team of consultant Gastroenterologists including locums, registrars, and specialist nurses.

Medical Secretarial qualification RSA Stage III Typing or equivalent VRQ Vocational Level 3 or 4 or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Previous NHS work experience in an acute or primary care setting.
Medical Terminology Certificate.
Day-to-day supervision of staff.
Planning/Organisational
Ability to work in a pressurised environment without supervision.
Proficiency with the Trust's healthcare systems/databases.
