All benefits subject to availability About the Role Our Dukes Golf Course plays host to an outstanding 5 Championship Golf Course, situated on the edge of St Andrews. The club has an excellent reputation with a range of facilities on offer to its members and guests. We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our team to support with the maintenance and development of the golf course, its facilities and surrounding estate. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain the course, practice facilities and surrounding estate to the highest standards. Carrying out daily and weekly work programs set by the Head Green Keeper. Follow all safe working practices implemented by our senior team members ensuring the safety of all golfers, staff and contractors Ensure personal protective equipment and uniforms are maintained to the standard required Support and promote all environmental policies and recycling of materials in accordance with the maintenance of standards defined in the Environmental Excellence Award. Regularly assess play and traffic areas on the course; pedestrian and vehicle access routes and reporting any areas of concern. Coach less experienced colleagues and actively participate in daily operations meetings About you We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to a career in turf management to join our team. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Greenkeeping (minimum qualification) and ideally have your PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates. Salary This is a permanent contract working 40 hours per flex across a flexible shift pattern. This role will include an element of weekend work, on rotation and unsociable hours.
