Business Development Manager - Hybrid / Coventry - Software Sales
We are partnering with an award winning Software Development company based in Coventry who are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This particular organisation focuses on delivering high quality digital solutions to various organisations throughout the UK and wider afield - mainly in the form of creative websites and applications to increase brand presence and user accessibility. They are a small and agile team, who pride themselves on collaboration and a friendly working environment.
Based on their ever growing capability, they are looking for a Business Development Manager with strong Software sales experience to help grow their Portfolio within the space. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing current clients and closing deals to expand their footprint.
The role offers hybrid working (circa 2 days p/w in Coventry), and is looking to pay £35-50k depending on experience plus bonus / commission per deal completed.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
* Identify and target potential clients through various channels, such as networking, cold calling, and digital marketing..
* Qualify leads based on company criteria to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
* Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to address needs and ensure satisfaction.
* Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and enhance client engagement.
Sales Pipeline Management:
* Develop and maintain a structured sales pipeline
* Monitor each stage of the sales cycle to ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
Negotiation and Deal Closing:
* Lead negotiations with prospective clients to finalise agreements.
* Address client concerns and objections to ensure successful deal closure.
* Secure contracts while maximising value and adhering to company guidelines.
Proposal Development:
* Create customised proposals that align with client requirements and business goals.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant data and craft effective presentations.
* Ensure proposals highlight the company’s unique value proposition and capabilities.
Market Analysis:
* Conduct thorough research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and market demands.
Key Experience Required:
* 3+ Years experience in a Business Development Manager role, ideally within Software Sales - even better if this is focused around Web / App Development!
* Clear proven track record of being a regular sales contributor and closer.
* Strong Understanding of digital software solutions and market trends
